Five oil seals

There are five points for installing oil seals:
First, check the oil seal for dust, impurities, and sediment; look at the cracks in the seal rubber.
Second, check the oil seal specifications (inner, outer diameter and height) and the shaft hole matching the size of the hole to meet the requirements, take a look at the width is enough, not enough to cut carpet pad or paper pad to add.
Third, check the oil seal inside the spring is elastic, tightness is appropriate, such as the spring is too long. If it is too loose and the hooping force is insufficient, the length should be appropriately shortened to see if the rubber seal is aging.
Fourth, check the shaft seat or seat hole for scratches, rust, or other mechanical damage, take a look at the oil seal deformation.
5. When the oil seal is installed, it should be pushed evenly and vigorously from all directions at the same time. It is strictly forbidden to slap on one side. When installing the skeletal rubber seal, the oil seal has one side of the spring ring facing the direction of the oil. The service temperature of the seal must not exceed 95°C. For oil seals with high speed and speed shafts, high-speed double-port type or high-speed ordinary type oil seals should be used.
