Shanghai Petrol Tanker installs electronic locks to replace traditional seals

On the afternoon of October 16, Shanghai Petroleum conducted preliminary acceptance of the first batch of 23 petrol tankers that were electronically modified by the logistics fleet. The installation of the electronic lock not only solves the cumbersome manual operation of the tanker using the one-time lead seal, but also improves the reliability and controllability of the quality management during the oil transportation process.

The electronic lock that replaces the traditional seal is composed of a lock installed on the tank truck, a remote control key for loading and unloading the port, and a decoder installed on the gas station and the oil depot platform. Before loading and unloading the oil, the decoder must first sense that the remote control key is within the valid range and “authorize” the key to unlock it. In other words, you must have the three requirements of “specific key, designated area, and specified distance” to unlock normally. Previously, the logistics center used the gap of highway gasoline delivery during the summer high-temperature delivery period, arranged 36 fleets of gasoline vehicles to install the electronic locks for loading and unloading ports, and installed the oil tanks for oil tankers according to uniform requirements. The sealed iron box was replaced with a 3 mm thick steel door panel.

As the installation needs to install the gas station and the oil depot platform, the manufacturer is improving according to the company's requirements. It is reported that the first batch of tank trucks will be put into trial operation in early November.
