The use of mechanical seals for water pumps

If the mechanical seal of the pump is used or improperly installed, the metal ring seal is easily damaged, causing the pump not to absorb water, and the water output is insufficient. Therefore, the following matters should be noted in use:

1. Be sure to add enough water before use to prevent dry friction.

2. Try not to pump muddy, weedy water.

3. If the water pump leaks from the pulley end, immediately identify the cause and add oil.

4. The impeller wall is thin and easily broken. If the impeller is disassembled, it should be gently lowered.

5. Rotate the bearing body and check that the clearance between the stationary ring and the pump shaft is uniform. If the static ring installation is skewed, correct it immediately.

6. Check the quality of the rubber. It is best to install water.

Clear the overflow hole at any time to waterproof into the bearing and dilute the lubricant.
